I had the pleasure to participate in the #training course “STRENGTHENING YOUTH CAPACITIES FOR #PEACE AND SECURITY” which aims at building up the capacity of experienced #youth #peacebuilders and young human rights activists in the field of advocacy, political participation, conflict transformation.

The training course brought together 20 experienced representatives, multipliers and young leaders from organisations working in peace-building or human rights in the Euro-med region. It built up our capacities in the field of advocacy, political participation, conflict transformation and Prevention of Violent Extremism, enabling us also to use human rights mechanisms and reporting tools to address injustice and transform conflicts.

The training took place in the framework of the 20th edition of the University for Youth and Development (UYD)​. The University on Youth and Development (UYD) is an international and multilateral youth event​ ​facilitated and coordinated by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe in partnership with​ ​the Spanish Institute for Youth​ ​(INJUVE), the European Youth Forum (YFJ) and other international​ ​youth organisations and youth serving institutions.​​ #20UYD
